baked figs with goat cheese
MAKES 10 FIGS (serving = 1 fig)
Per serving: 85 calories | 3 g fat | 2 g protein | 12 g net carb
INGREDIENTS
10 medium-sized figs
3 oz soft goat cheese
2 Tbsp honey
2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
2 Tbsp chopped pecans
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. Cut figs in quarters without slicing entirely through.
3. Stuff each fig with goat cheese.
4. Drizzle with honey and balsamic vinegar.
5. Sprinkle pecans on top.
6. Broil for 5 minutes then serve warm or let cool.

Swap out the figs for halved pears to re-purpose
the original recipe for a future dish!
