INGREDIENTS
1 ½ lb. top round beef, sliced ¼ inch thick and into 1-inch pieces
1 tsp Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
2 Tbsp olive oil
2 Tbsp unsalted butter
10 oz white button mushrooms cut into ¼-inch-thick slices
1 cup finely chopped yellow onion
1 Tbsp all-purpose flour
1 cup low-sodium beef broth
1 cup reduced-fat sour cream, at room temperature
2, 12-oz packages of wide egg noodles
1 Tbsp thinly sliced fresh chives
gluten-free swap:
Use Tapioca Starch or Arrowroot Starch in place of
all-purpose flour to thicken the sauce as well as your
favorite gluten-free pasta!
