Simple Berry Compote
Serves: ~1.5 cups / Prep Time: 5 mins / Total Time: 15 mins
This berry compote does not have any added sugar, and is a perfect topping on yogurt,
pancakes, waffles... anything!
Ingredients
Directions

1. Place fruit and juice in a small saucepan over medium
heat.
2. Once bubbling, reduce heat slightly and use a wooden
spoon to mash the fruit.
3. Continue cooking over medium-low heat for 10-12 minutes, occasionally mashing fruit to combine.
4. Remove from heat and serve!


3 cups fresh/frozen
mixed berries
3 tbsp water
optional: ground
cinnamon,vanilla
extract, lemon rind
