Simple Berry Compote
Serves: ~1.5 cups | Prep Time: 5 mins | Total Time: 15 mins
This berry compote does not have any added sugar and is a perfect topping on yogurt,
pancakes, waffles... anything!
Ingredients

| 3 cups fresh/frozen mixed
berries
1. Place fruit and water in a small saucepan over medium heat.
| 3 tbsp water
2. Once bubbling, reduce heat slightly and use a wooden spoon
to mash the fruit.
OPTIONAL
3. Continue cooking over medium-low heat for 10 to 12 minutes,
occasionally mashing fruit to combine.
| Ground cinnamon
4. Remove from heat and serve!
| Vanilla extract
| Lemon rind
