Work Placements
at Bury College
Bury College aims to provide you
with the best start to your career
and strongly believes in the value of
completing work placements.
During your full-time study programme
you will have the opportunity to take part
in work placements. This will allow you to
develop transferable work-related skills
and gain an insight into the career of your
choice. Gaining an understanding of the
world of work prepares you for your next
steps after college.
The college has a dedicated team of Work
Placements Co-ordinators to help you
secure placements. Work placements will
vary from course to course and you may
undertake a placement as part of your
core provision for at least one week during
the academic year.

Work placements can take place on study
days, during college holidays or as part of
your course timetable.
