Our Art and Design courses aim to develop your creative
skills so that you can progress to further study in a range of
art and design disciplines and pursue a successful career in
the dynamic world of creative arts. You will be encouraged
to explore a variety of creative skills and techniques
through both course-led assignments and live brief
opportunities. These courses equip you to make confident,
informed decisions and judgments regarding your work
and develop your creative skills in a positive independent
Level 3 qualification, apprenticeship
or employment
manner. You will need to possess a sound artistic ability,
good communication skills and the desire to express
yourself creatively.
You will benefit from state of-the-art facilities including
a photography studio and dark room, industry standard
IT suites and design software, laser cutters, creative
workshops and media studios.
† Please note, applicants who have a passion for art and design, but who may not have had the opportunity to study an Art and Design
GCSE at school, will be considered for a place on these courses at interview based on the presentation of a suitable portfolio of their work.
