Day 10: Tuesday 10 September
- Periyar to Cochin
This morning, we will be transferred to coastal city of Cochin
(143Kms/4hrs) and upon arrival transferred to our hotel.

1 night in a sea facing room including breakfast
Day 12: Thursday 12 September
- Alleppey
Full day is at leisure on board the houseboat.
Day 13: Friday 13 September
- Appelley to Kovalam
Today we will drive to Kovalam (159kms/5hrs) and be
transferred to our hotel.

3 nights in a Sea View Villa including breakfast
Rest of the day is at leisure.
This afternoon, we will tour Cochin city visiting the Dutch
Palace, which has some of India9s most beautiful murals, the
Jewish Synagogue in the heart of Jew Town and the
cantilevered Chinese fishing nets. See St. Francis Church
where Vasco da Gama was originally buried, and the Santa
Cruz Church with its pastel coloured interior and carved
wooden panels.
In the evening, we will experience the Kathakali dance
performance. Kathakali, literally meaning "story dance" is the
pantomimic dance drama, the dancing and the acting being
blended together into an inseparable form. It is a
combination of facial expressions and body movements,
which brings out the thought and emotion of the character.
Kathakali is predominantly a male art and the dancing is
mostly of the masculine type.
Day 11: Wednesday 11 September
- Cochin to Alleppey
Days 14 & 15: Saturday 14 & Sunday 15 Sept
- Kovalam
Two days at leisure to enjoy Kovalam Beach. Optional
tours/activities will be offered.
Day 16: Monday 16 September
-Kovalam to Mumbai via Trivandrum
This morning we will be picked up and transferred to the
airport to connect with our flight to Mumbai.
12:40pm Depart from Trivandrum by Indigo 6E312
02:50pm Arrive Mumbai
Upon arrival, we will be met & transferred to our hotel.
This morning, we will be transferred to Alleppey jetty point
(73kms/2.5 hrs) to board a Kerala luxury houseboat. Cruise
on the backwaters in the houseboat, gently gliding past the
villages touching the banks. Relax on board as the houseboat
glides slowly on the back waters and narrow canals where
we will be able to see paddy fields, Kerala villages, churches
and temples etc on the riversides.
During the cruise, we will be able to drop in at some villages
to see the techniques and procedure involved in coir making.
Lunch, dinner will be served onboard, and you will be
spending your night on the backwaters.
