PEOPLE
CAE CULTURE BOOK
Simon did a great job in lifting those
January blues, by hosting a fun quiz and
sharing with us how he likes to switch off
at home with the family.
Promoting and supporting
everyone’s wellbeing
is something we are
passionate about. The way
we work, and live life has
changed a lot in the last
year, and we are constantly
looking at ways to keep up
with the pace of change, as
well as offering meaningful
wellbeing initiatives and
benefits that really do
make a difference.
It is well known that effective
wellbeing initiative can benefit
organisations, economies and
communities. However, we see these
as a result and not our focus; Our
focus when it comes to wellbeing is
our people.
Listening carefully, through various
methods such as Best Co, team days,
and the SMT we have introduced new
wellbeing initiatives – offering more
choice to suit individual needs and
preferences.

Wellness Wednesday
Wellness Wednesday was hosted by
members of the SLT; a great opportunity
for the team to share what wellness
means to them, and the different ways
they achieve balance.
Hearing how Justin’s work-life balance
is supported so much by being back in
the office, helping to draw some lines
between work and home was a good
reminder of how important boundaries
are to balance.
“Whenever I join the Wellness
Wednesday sessions, I always come
away from it learning a little bit more
about a subject I didn’t really know too
much about. It is super insightful and I
love the personal touch that is brought in
by asking people to share their stories”
Faisal Gulzed
“Wellness Wednesdays are interactive, and
interesting calls to be on. They always cover an
interesting topic and you always walkway from
the call having learnt something new. It’s nice to
take an hour out of your day once a month to join
and take part. I find them relaxing and fun.”
