CAE is a missional organisation and
therefore culture is the cornerstone
of everything we do. It should be the
blueprint on how we engage with our
customers, our employees and our
partners and how we operate together
as a community.

‘easiest’ thing.”
Living within the culture takes continuous and active
consideration until it becomes a lived habit and second
nature. It’s everybody’s responsibility to support those who
are new or who may at times not walk the same line in quietly
educating them with compassion and grace, remembering
that no one person is perfect all of the time!
It’s most clearly shown in the ‘how’ of what we do and in the
crunch decisions of individual self-interest vs potential longer
term damage to the culture or CAE community. It’s in doing
‘the right thing’, not just the ‘quick’ or ‘easiest’ thing.
Good culture, combined with consistent accountability and
review, will lead to sustained business growth as it builds a
place that people want to work and a company with whom
customers and suppliers want to do business with.
