SALSA FRESCA

INGREDIENTS
INSTRUCTIONS
FRESH SALSA FRESCA
• 1 lb cored and washed
Roma Tomatoes (4
large Roma Tomatoes)
• 2.5 oz diced yellow onion
• 0.75 oz fresh jalapeño
• 0.25 oz fresh cilantro
• 1 oz lime juice (real
lime)
• 1/4 tbsp (3.5 g) dark
brown sugar
• 1/4 tbsp (3.5 g) sea salt
1. In a large skillet, add
lean ground beef.
2. Cook over mediumhigh heat until brown.
3. Drain fat.
4. Stir in water and Taco
Time Taco Seasoning Mix.
5. Bring to a boil.
6. Reduce heat and
simmer(uncovered) for
10 mins or until liquid
is reduced, stirring
occasionally.
FRESH SALSA FRESCA
1. Dice the Roma
tomatoes. Add to bowl.
2. Dice the yellow onion.
Add to bowl.
3. Combine the following
ingredients in a bowl or
small food processor:

• 500 g lean ground beef
• 3/4 cup of water
• 3/4 cup of TacoTime
Taco Seasoning Mix
SEASONED BEEF TACO
• Choice of flour tortilla
or a crisp corn taco
shell (we recommend a
6.5” size)
• 1.75 oz of seasoned
ground beef
• 0.5 oz of shredded
cheddar cheese
• 0.75 oz of shredded
iceberg lettuce
• 0.5 oz of fresh salsa fresca

4. Blend the ingredients
until they have the
consistency of runny
oatmeal.
5. Pour the blended
ingredients over the
tomatoes and onions
and thoroughly mix
everything together.
SEASONED BEEF TACO
1. Add all ingredients into
the taco shell starting
with the ground beef,
then lettuce, cheddar
cheese and salsa fresca.
2. Top with sour cream,
guacamole or hot
sauce to taste.
• Fresh jalapeño — stem
and seeds removed
• Fresh cilantro —
no stems
• Lime juice (real lime)
• Dark brown sugar
• Sea salt
