FMCGCONNECT 2023
PANEL 3
T
he 3rd panel discussion on ‘GAUGING
SUPPLY CHAIN FLEXIBILITY AND
DEEMING IT FIT TO THE NEXTLEVEL’ revolved around the need for
reducing the impact of disruptions — reducing
the time to resolution and increasing the speed
of recovery. The panellists discussed in depth
the new paradigms for competitiveness in order
for companies to be proactive and alter the
"straight shot" supply chain forever. Assuming
a longer-term perspective may make investing
in resilience a better value proposition After all,
a proactive supply chain eliminates the effort
and financial costs of reactive uncertainty.
Downturns and disruptions are inevitable.
Whether companies lose momentum or—preferably—adapt and advance comes down to three
things: the capacity to absorb stress, recover
critical functionality, and thrive in altered
circumstances — a key indicator defining a
company’s overall supply chain health.
The panellists were felicitated by Kruti Jobanputra, Director, JW Ventures
