GIVING CIRCLE FUNDS
Giving Circles encourage members to participate in philanthropy through grantmaking, education, advocacy, and
community-based activities. Each giving circle is made up of individuals who pool their donations and decide together
what initiatives or causes to support. This way of giving enables people to increase their impact, knowledge, and
connectivity with the community.

SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS
Scholarship Funds allow the donor to help deserving students pursue their academic goals. Donors, working with CFAAC,
can determine scholarship requirements including field of study, need, and education level such as high school or college.
Funds can be named in memory of a loved one or to honor a family member.

LEGACY SOCIETY
The Legacy Society recognizes supporters who have named the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County in their
will or estate plan. There are a variety of ways to leave a legacy and impact future generations. These intended legacy
gifts, when realized, can range from establishing a new fund, giving direct gifts to nonprofits, or supporting CFAAC in its
