A Maryland state tax credit called “Endow Maryland”
rewards donors who help build permanent charitable
funds for local communities across the state and in Anne
Arundel County. Endow Maryland allows donors to
establish or add to an existing endowed fund at CFAAC
and qualify for a 25% state tax credit. CFAAC has a
limited number of tax credits available, so donate today.

CFAAC recognizes that the pooling of invested assets
reduces administrative and investment-related expenses,
allowing more money to go toward benefiting the social
sector. A donor may wish to recommend that their
contributed assets be invested outside of our pooled
investments. For this reason, we have established certain
guidelines, called the Medallion Program, for when a
donor wishes to recommend a specific investment
manager or management firm to manage their donated
assets. Contact our Director of Finance and Operations,
Kathy Luthcke, at kathy@cfaac.org or call 410.280.1102
x105 for more information.

Opening a fund at CFAAC is like having your own private
foundation, only without the hassle and expense. CFAAC
staff researches each nonprofit you’d like to support to
ensure it is in good standing and then issues the check
from your fund. For more information on opening a fund
contact our Director of Development, Damika BakerWilson, at damika@cfaac.org or 410.280.1102 x102.
