The Republic of Mauritius is a volcanic island
located off the South East coast of Africa in the
Indian Ocean, covering an area of 1,865 square
kilometres and 330 kilometres of coastline. Its
lagoons, beaches and coral reefs make it a true
paradise and an ideal place for family or romantic
holidays.
Mauritius has a population of around 1.2 million
and it's well known for its cultural diversity. French
and English are the main languages spoken on the
island.
Golfers are in for a treat, as Mauritius is worldrenowned for its spectacular golf courses, which are
