COLLEGE (VC)
AREAS FOR IMPACT: Access / Affordability / Employability
Helping students launch their
ventures beyond the classroom.
HIGHLIGHTS
The Venture College cultivates and supports student
entrepreneurship to solve important problems in our
community and world. Our programs build skills and
cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset to empower
students to develop their ideas, create business plans,
and launch their ventures. We provide training, venture
incubation support, and innovative startup experience
opportunities to students across the campus to help
them pursue their dreams.
Launched Venture College Incubator program in
Spring 2020 with 40 student ventures.
Created virtual Survive to Thrive series in partnership with
Trailhead to help startups in response to COVID-19 pandemic.
Produced new online content such as Side Hustle Series and
Value Prop Series to provide value to students and community
members in need of supplementary income.
Supported the creation of 50+ new student ventures
in the past year.
