oncordia Village is an integral part of
our long-term plan to continuously
serve the health, wellness and housing
need of residents in northeast Winnipeg.
Concordia Village is a non-profit assisted
living facility for seniors, owned and managed
by Concordia Wellness Projects Inc. (CWPI).
The campus consists of 285 one or two bedroom
living units in three buildings: Concordia Village I (1125 Molson Street), Concordia Village
II (1115 Molson Street), and Concordia Village
III (1105 Molson Street).
Residents live in spacious, fully equipped
units. They receive meals and housekeeping
service, and are engaged in a variety of activities—all part of an overall strategy to support
and enhance independent and healthy living.
All units are fully accessible for people with
special mobility needs.
Concordia Village staff are committed to
the wellbeing of residents, and work tirelessly to support and enhance the activities of
daily living. Residents have access to an on-site
chaplain and spiritual care services, personal
security device from Victoria Lifeline, an onsite registered nurse, homecare workers, and
daily social and recreational activities.
CWPI was established by representatives of
the Mennonite faith community as an expression of their commitment to caring for others.
The CWPI leadership team is led by Les Janzen,
CEO. People like Carla Mendres makes sure the
food service is always nutritious and delicious.
Eva Cunningham ensures tenant services and
activities bring joy and care for everyone, and
Bruce Henderson manages the finances and
human resources. As director of environment
services, Ernie Goertz assures that the facilities
are managed efficiently. Lynn Moors, executive
assistant, keeps everything running smoothly.
Our team works with a non-profit board and a
large contingent of staff who serve the special
people living in our Concordia Village community with pride and excellence.
