It is an enormous privilege
to address CTM’s employees,
customers, partners and
shareholders as we mark our 25th
year of operations.
When I started out on this journey
in 1994 there was limited choice
in the corporate travel offering,
which was largely defined by
call centres and technology
that didn’t add much value to
customers. It was an opportunity
to do things differently, and
better, and that vision remains
pivotal to our ongoing success.
We wanted to provide superior
service and support to customers,
underpinned by really great
technology that made the
travel management experience
easier, more efficient and more
enjoyable for every stakeholder
while delivering a return on
investment to customers by
driving savings to their
travel program.
A really pleasing aspect of CTM’s
journey is that this customer
value proposition remains highly
valued 25 years on. Our vision
from the early days was to be
the best travel management
company (TMC) possible; the
best travel supplier, employer
and business partner. Along the
way, our success and the quality
of our people has allowed us
to expand and diversify. We’ve
established a global presence
because of our commitment to
providing the best offering to
customers, ensuring first-class
service delivered by experienced
local teams.
I have immense pride in the
achievements of the CTM
teams all around the world.
None of our success would be
possible without the remarkable
contributions of our people, and
it has been great to watch so
many talented people grow and
succeed within our business and
the broader travel industry.
As I reflect on an incredible
25 years, I am also eagerly
anticipating CTM’s next chapter.
The business is delivering on its
goals in all four global regions
and is now positioned to move
forward with confidence.
I wish to thank all our
employees and the CTM Board
for their passion, dedication
and professionalism, and our
customers for their ongoing
support and collaboration. I must
also acknowledge the important
role of our industry partners, for
their mutual support and shared
vision for transforming the travel
experience. And lastly, to our
shareholders for their continued
confidence in our business
strategy. Here’s to the next 25
years and beyond.
