ADVICE
ACCOUNTANTS MAY BE
TRUSTED ADVISERS, BUT
SOME ADVICE IS BETTER
LEFT UNSAID.
New research from Finder
reveals the savings advice
Australians find most
annoying, and being told
to cancel their TV streaming
service tops the list at
49 per cent.
The research is based on
a nationally representative
survey of 1010 respondents.
It shows that two in five
Australians are also bothered
by suggestions to perform
their own grooming or
beauty service at home
to save money.
However, not all savings
advice is bothersome. Being
told to cook at home instead
of eating out or ordering takeout is considered helpful by
77 per cent, while 74 per cent
don’t mind being told to track
their spending, and 73 per cent
do not object to considering
using coupons to save money
on purchases.
