Festival of Flowers at Holy Trinity Church - 2nd to 5th June
Annie Blissett
To coincide with The Queen’s Platinum
Jubilee this year we are holding a
‘Festival of Flowers’ in Holy Trinity
Church to celebrate this auspicious
occasion.
Please make a note in your diaries, and
come along on Thursday 2nd, Friday 3rd
and Saturday 4th June from 10.00am until
3.00pm – and Sunday 5th from 11.30am until 3.00pm. There will be
refreshments to be enjoyed whilst you are wandering around the Church
admiring the lovely floral displays, which have been arranged by a team of
our clever local flower ladies and school children (sadly no gentlemen yet!).
There is no charge for entry, but donations will be gratefully received (cash,
cheque, or card), with any profit going towards the ever-increasing and
spiralling costs of maintaining the Church.
If you cannot come before, why not pop along on Sunday 5th to see the
festival before starting your Jubilee Picnic Lunch around the nearby Village
Hall? We very much look forward to welcoming you.
