Bore Place Events Friday 10th and Sunday 12th June

Friday 10th June Wildlife Gardening Club:
Wildflowers for Pollinators (10.00am –
1.00pm) Adults: FREE
This is an excellent opportunity to learn how
to use a botanical identification key and
explore the huge variety of plants at Bore
Place; you will also learn how to create your own mini meadow in a pot at
home. This workshop is part of a year-long FREE Wildlife Gardening Club at
Bore Place, offered in collaboration with Northwest Kent Countryside
Partnership. The club meets every Friday (10:00-13:00) at Bore Place.
Sunday 12th June Introduction to Beekeeping on (10:00am – 4.00pm)
Adults: £59.00
This course is an excellent introduction to
the world of beekeeping. Led by John
Shepherd, an experienced beekeeper and
smallholder, the course will help you
understand the lifecycle of the bee and the
basics of beekeeping, including the
equipment you will need to get going. Places
are limited to ensure there is plenty of opportunity for questions and
discussion. The course is designed for beginners, so no previous experience
or knowledge is required.
Bore Place is an environmental NGO based in Chiddingstone, Kent. Visitors
can park on-site and explore the stunning 500-acre organic farm with
several walking routes to choose from.
