CAREER PATHWAYS
The MCD program is geared
towards students with a bachelor
degree in architecture, landscape
architecture, urban studies, urban
planning and related disciplines.
Successful graduates can expect
to find employment as entry-level
urban designers in consulting firms,
local governments, non-profits
organizations and public sector
agencies. Some students also
pursue professional careers with
real-estate developers, charitable
foundations and advocacy groups.
WHY A CUPPA DEGREE
FROM UIC?
In CUPPA, we help students match their hopes
for the future with the skills and networks to
make real change possible. We teach students
to first understand the needs and strengths of
communities, and then work together to improve
them. In Chicago and around the world, we strive
to create just, resilient, and livable communities.
STEM OPT QUALIFIED
