The National Gallery of Denmark is the largest museum in
Denmark, and contains art dating back to the 1300s. Much
of the art exhibited at SMK is collected by the former
Danish monarchs, Christian 4th and Frederik 5th. At SMK
it is also possible to view selected paintings from Vilhelm
Hammershøi, who's paintings has inspired the colour palette at Hotel SKT. Annæ.
