in 2017.
The most important reason for this increase is that
in 2018, more contributions and transfers were
received than in previous years.

Payments
Total payments increased by DKK 696 mill.
compared with 2017. This is partly due to an
increase in payments of old-age pensions as a
consequence of many new old-age pensioners,
and partly due to an increase in transfers to other
pension companies in connection with job
changes.
In 2018, Industriens Pension directed specific
efforts towards members who are entitled to an
old-age pension, but who have not yet claimed
pension benefits. This has contributed to the
increase in the number of old-age pensioners.
