CO2 EMISSIONS
Marius Pedersen A/S consumption of fuel and
electricity is associated with emission of CO2, CO, NOx
and SO2, which have a negative impact on the climate.
We focus on reducing the CO2 emissions, and thereby
reduce other types of emissions.
Figure 6 shows the development in CO2 emissions over
the past five years.
We see an increasing trend in CO2 emissions from
2021 to 2022 due to increased activities and thereby
more kilometres driven. If instead we look at total diesel

consumption per kilometre driven, which is a more
true and fair expression of CO2 emissions (cf. figure
2022
2), we
see a constant decrease in diesel consumption
per kilometre driven in the period from 2020 to 2022.

This decrease reflects that part of our vehicle fleet was

replaced
on optimisation in driving patterns cf. our climate target
