Ganz oben haben wir Hanstholm mit seinem herrlichen Hafen.
Er liefert die besten Rohwaren aus dem Meer. Dabei ist nicht
alles mit einem Laptop zu erledigen. Dort arbeiten Fischer mit
Händen so groß wie Krabben und einem Rückgrad, dass die
höchsten Wellen verträgt. Die Fischerei ist ihr Lebensstil.
This is a raw, honest, and whole-hearted fishing town.
With a big, busy harbour full of hard-working fishermen
with backbones as strong as waves, and wild stories of
a life at sea. A lighthouse that once was the biggest and
brightest in Europe. And the interesting World War ll
Bunker Museum, with its ammunition train.
Hanstholm ist nicht malerisch – es ist roh, heftig und ehrlich.
Wer das verträgt sollte Hanstholm nicht aus dem Weg gehen –
und bestimmt dann nicht, wenn man Seeleute mag.
Du kennst aber Hanstholm nicht, wenn Du nicht auf dem
Leuchtturm und im Bunkermuseum warst, nicht im Granatenzug gefahren bist, wie die Olsenbande, und frisch gefangenen
Fisch gegessen hast.

seaside town - but it’s a town with a wonderful, hardworking history that has a soul built on a life of fishing
and the North sea.
