As a result, we had to allocate the appropriate
time to bring everything to fruition. That’s how
the 32+8 model came about.
The 32+8 model gives each employee 1 day per
week to work on a selected theme to work on
our own projects, initiatives and solutions, or to
improve things that exist today but are not currently working at optimal efficiency. That means, in
addition to countless hours of informal influence
on culture, we currently invest a cumulative 30
working days in our culture every week. We’ve
already made great progress, but we also know
there’s still a lot to do. In the next chapter, we’ll
take a closer look at how this kind of ownership
works at DAYONE.
