to dispense advice for hosting home
celebrations. Please share a tried and
true example of a party planning must
have or must do.
Renee: Don’t stress! A party is supposed to be fun. If you’re not a great
cook, bring in catering. If you’re daunt-
Renee: National. On the Events by
Renee team, I have one full time person. On Party Host Helpers I have 11
people on my Executive Team and 20K
Helpers in our system.
Denise: 20K helpers in the system?!
This IS really an empire! Please share
ed by cocktails, limit your selection to
1 or 2 cocktails along with wine and
beer. But the best advice is to hire Party Host Helpers!
Denise: Is your business National,
International or both?
how that came about.
Renee: There’s a great need for jobs
and gig work nationwide. In this economy, many people need more than one
job to survive. We have people in our
National network ranging from stay at
home moms to retirees and college students. People like to work for PHH because they can pick and choose to work
the gigs that 昀椀t into their schedule. We
pay well and our clients are amazing
and generous because our sta昀昀 is amazing. Social media has helped us 昀椀nd
sta昀케ng all over the country during our
expansion.
Denise: How do you advertise your
business?
Renee: By advertising my business
on Social Media I was able reach my
initial goals much sooner than I ever
imagined possible. And my next goal is
to take this party and build it into an
International scope of event planning
and services. Being able to advertise
my business on-line globally will allow
that to happen.
Denise: What are some of the most
di昀케cult obstacles you face in guiding
your business today?
Renee: Competition, di昀昀erence of
team’s opinions, and technology issues,
not necessarily in that order. I think
the most important factor in any business is sta昀昀 input. They’re the ones out
in the 昀椀eld doing the work and listening to their take on what’s happening
is important. We don’t always agree
during post-mortems (meetings discussing what worked and what didn’t after
an event) but their opinions matter.
Denise: Who’s your hero?
Renee: The women I interact with,
work with, network with and are
friends with on a daily basis are all
my heroes. I’m truly blessed to be surrounded by everyday heroes.
Denise: If you could have lunch with
any celebrity who would that be?
Renee: Sarah Blakely from SPANX.
She had a vision that changed the way
women think about dressing forever! It
would be amazing to break bread with
her.
Denise: What’s your dream vacation?
Renee: I’d love to book a trip in an
Over Water Bungalow for my 5 or 10
year wedding anniversary. Getting
away any time with my husband and
daughter is my idea of bliss.
