Sugarloaf Reservoir in the late
1920s. The Sugarloaf Reservoir
Dam Wall still exists under the
waters of Lake Eildon.

The Mimi Jane is believed to
be Australia's oldest purpose
-built houseboat and is on
display at the Eildon Dams
Museum, behind the Eildon
Visitor Information Centre. It
was built for Mrs Louisa Jones
from Rippon Lea and was
named after her two poodles!
Mt Torbreck, the highest
peak in Murrindindi, is great
for an adventurous hike.
