INSPIRATIONAL
ART
HIDDEN GEM
The Toolangi Sculpture
Trail located at the Toolangi
Bushland Reserve, is an
outdoor art gallery like no
other. Home to a showcase
of ‘environmental art’ set
in a natural forest, the trail
meanders between artworks
created by international
and Australian artists from
natural materials provided
by the forest. What’s more,
it’s open every day and is
free.

Murrindindi has long been
a magnet for artists
seeking inspiration
from the spectacular
landscapes and natural
environments of the
mountains, rivers and
forests.
Painters, potters, sculptors
and textile artists work from
studios and workshops
scattered throughout the
villages and hamlets of the
region. From internationallylauded artists to local

artisans, the region offers
a rich experience for the
visitor seeking a unique art
encounter.
Galleries and exhibitions
can be found in many cafes,
restaurants and stores
which support and value the
contribution local artists
make to the community.
What better way to admire
these artworks than over a
glass of local wine and a plate
of regional produce – not to
mention great coffee!
