Co. Tipperary Chamber Skillnet is
co-funded by Skillnet Ireland and network
companies to offer a suite of training programmes that address the skills de昀椀cits of
enterprise Skillnet Ireland is funded from
the National Training Fund through the Department of Further and Higher Education,
Research, Innovation and Science.

provides subsidised training for enterprise. They are committed to supporting
regional growth and workforce development through the provision of quality,
industry-led training. County Tipperary
Chamber Skillnet are dedicated to empowering individuals and businesses to
thrive in today's dynamic and competitive
landscape.
Duggan Veterinary CPD Ed over the past
number of years has grabbed the attention
and plaudits of all veterinary professionals. Sarah Keane, Duggan Veterinary CPD
Business Manager stated: ‘Embracing

Sharon Higgins, Skillnet Administrator,
states: ‘Skillnet Ireland is a business
support agency of the Government of
Ireland, responsible for advancing the
competitiveness, productivity, and innovation of businesses through increased
participation in enterprise training by
businesses. Being able to provide funding
for local industry is a fundamental part
of achieving our goals. Our main focus
is on creating opportunities for Member
Companies to grow their businesses
and through Skillnet, upskill employees
ensuring a robust and resilient workforce
in Tipperary and beyond.’
On the new collaboration, Sarah adds ‘In
real terms, this means that our delegates
can now avail of 昀椀nancial support from
County Tipperary Chamber Skillnet across
a range of courses provided by us. This
will improve accessibility to the wider

Sarah quali昀椀ed with honours in
Veterinary Nursing from University
College Dublin in 2010 before pursuing a career in education which has
included the completion of a Masters
in Advanced Practice in Veterinary
Nursing with the University of
Glasgow.
In 2021 Sarah came to work at Duggan Veterinary Supplies where her
love for educating and promoting
Veterinary Nursing has 昀氀ourished.
This has resulted in a seamless
transition into her current role as
CPD Business Manager at Duggan
Veterinary Supplies.
