Penley Tolmer Cabernet
Region: Coonawarra, SA
Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon
Notes: The Tolmer is a modern expression of Coonawarra
Cabernet, showcasing intense blackcurrants and savoury notes
of French oak. It is medium-bodied without being heavy and has
a generous core of juicy fruits with well integrated chalky tannins.
The seamless finish rounds off a bright, fragrant wine that can be
enjoyed now or cellared for a few more years.
Terre à Terre Cabernet
Franc Shiraz 2018
Region: Wrattonbully, SA
Variety: Cabernet Franc/Shiraz
Notes: A modern take on the rich tradition of Aussie Cabernet Shiraz
blends, which works so well. Cabernet Franc provides a pretty
floral nose, with a hint of pepper, dark chocolate and dried thyme
revealing a palate driven by a core of bright Shiraz fruit. This is
medium bodied wine at its finest, made with the finesse of a terroir
obsessed French winemaker at the height of his powers.
