This is a very versatile treat that everyone will love. That is, of course, unless they
are allergic to almonds. These are easy enough to make and keep on hand to give
out as emergency gifts. We often forget about giving a gift that is as simple as these.
However, the people you make these for certainly won’t forget about them.

2 cups raw almonds
8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate,
chopped
sea salt, for sprinkling (if desired)
Cookie sheet
Parchment paper
Saucepan
Microwave-safe bowl
Spoon

method of crafting
1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Spread almonds out on the cookie sheet and toast for 10 to 12 minutes. Stir halfway through.
Making sure the almonds are toasting evenly. Set aside to cool.
2. Melt the chocolate in the microwave. Stop and stir every 30 seconds. Once the chocolate
is completely melted, stir in the almonds and make sure each one is completely coated.
3. Spoon clusters onto the prepared cookie sheet. These can be as large or small as you like.
If desired, sprinkle lightly with sea salt and then allow chocolate to set completely.
4. These can be stored in the refrigerator up for to 4 weeks.
notes and tips
Use a high quality, semi-sweet chocolate like Lindt or Ghirardelli to produce a rich tasting
chocolate almond cluster.
