SKANDALARIS CENTER CUP (SC CUP)
The Skandalaris Center Cup (SC Cup) is a business plan competition
for scalable, for-profit ventures. It is open to all students, postdocs,
and recent alumni. The
competition provides six
months of expert mentorship
to the teams, with the goal of
strengthening the teams’
business plan and strategy. At
the finals in the Spring, up to
$5,000 will be awarded to
winning teams.

The Global Impact Award awards
up to $50,000 to WashU students,
postdocs, and recent alumni
whose ventures are scalable,
sustainable, and quick-to-market
with proof of concept and a broad
impact. It is made possible by the
generous donation of alumnus
Suren G. Dutia and his wife, Jas K.
Grewal. After a competitive

Center, the Office of Technology Management, the Institute of

Discovery, LEAP awarded over $650,000 to WashU research teams.
