expertise in energy management
that’s recognised by employers
across business sectors, in the UK and
internationally.

it is the gold standard qualification
in energy management and has
been shown to significantly boost
recipients’ earning potential.
It also opens up the option to also
become an approved ESOS Lead
Assessor, enabling you to sign
off ESOS audits on behalf of your
organisation or clients, and join our
approved register which is one of the
most extensive listings of ESOS Lead
Assessors.
Register of Professional
Energy Consultants (RPEC)
If you are already chartered and
experienced as an energy efficiency
consultant, you can put yourself
on the map for businesses needing
expert help by joining our searchable
online Register of Professional
Energy Consultants (RPEC). All RPEC
consultants have a proven track record
of delivering effective energy advice
to businesses, and are also approved
as ESOS Lead Assessors.
Company Membership
Your organisation may also become
a member in its own right, extending
the EI’s services and benefits to
the entire workforce. Company
membership demonstrates to
customers, stakeholders and wider
