Nedbank understands the intricate value of money,
hence the bank’s purpose to use its financial
expertise to help people realise that money well

lives. “Seeing money differently is really a way
of bringing a life or purpose in the market place,”
says Nedbank’s Group Executive for Marketing and
Corporate Affairs Khensani Nobanda.
One of the ways Nedbank is helping clients to “see
money differently” is through its technological
innovations which are tailor-made to suit all
types of clients – from the young to elderly. “In
a world where you have millennials who do not
know what a branch is and 65-year-olds who
want to walk into a branch for service, you have
to accommodate everyone,” says Nobanda.
This is evident in the bank’s technological journey
which consists of the Managed Evolution and
Digital Fast Lane, for instance, Nedbank launched
the Digital Fast Lane 60-day challenge to get
real working solutions to market in 60 days, and
Nobanda does not foresee a situation where
traditional banking will become extinct.

going to get rid of branches in the next 10 years.
