IN THEIR WORDS
FEEDBACK FROM OUR PARENTS AND CAREGIVERS
He had the most fun we think he has ever had and really felt apart of the
community. He has not stopped talking about his "Mr. ManEx" performance and
has done the "instant legend" chant each time he tells the story. He is a
chatterbox about his counselors who were "the best ever", all the nightly
events, and we now know almost every counselor’s nickname. Most importantly
he said he was able to talk about his sister and things related to the loss that he
never has before. He even started talking about what emotions he feels
sometimes, which we have never heard him be able to articulate so clearly.
- THE CONROY FAMILY
As a 55 year old single mom of a 13 year old and also a caregiver of my mother
who has Alzheimer’s, life is challenging in many layers. Experience Camp has
really been a blessing for Maya. Just being able to break away and to have fun
with other kids is healing for her. Thank you for being our village.

Honestly, this camp has been a lifesaver for my kids. It is the only true therapy
that has helped with their grieving process. It brings me peace in my heart
knowing that they have this camp and that it has helped them tremendously. I
know I did the right thing sending them and it has been the best thing for them.

THE CAMP HELPS JAMES OPEN UP. AFTER CAMP HE'S MORE OPEN
ABOUT HIMSELF AND MORE UPBEAT. CAMP HAS BEEN A BEACON OF
LIGHT THAT HAS HELPED JAMES GET THROUGH SOME DARK TIMES.
WE BELIEVE THE RELATIONSHIPS HE'S BUILT AT CAMP AND THE
SUPPORT HE'S RECEIVED HAVE HELPED HIM TREMENDOUSLY.
