THE FATH PATH
Later, it becomes clear that the roundtable has
developed its own, FATH-specific version of what
is now known as the “New Work” megatrend. The
focus here, however, is less on work-life blending,
a concept that arguably threatens to open a new
chapter of institutionalised self-exploitation.
The emphasis is instead on ideas such as joy,
collaboration and significance.
Helpful for this are simple and practical working
tools and streamlined processes, but also a
pleasant, healthy working environment in which
clarity, warmth and space for personal encounters
can be found.
The implementation of these ideas is still in its
first stages. But already now, six months after the
official start of the new FATH positioning (which is
also reflected in the new corporate identity), it is
clear to see what momentum this has triggered.
And in the Experience Factory (FATH XF), employees,
customers and partners will in future be able to
experience live and directly how FATH products
and solutions enrich working life in practice and
contribute to improved value creation.
Every decision is reviewed to see if it is helpful in
terms of this corporate goal, and at the same time
many new ideas are generated on how ENRICH
YOUR WORKING LIFE. can be realized for the benefit
of our customers, partners and employees.
This brings us to the somewhat unexpected core
point of the meeting: the question of what role FATH
should play in the future on the markets and for
everyone who works with FATH. It quickly becomes
clear that it cannot indefinitely be about economic
optimization, about the next gram, the next second,
the next cent. Economizing and optimizing approach
their limits at some point.
This is definitely the point at which the FATH
Ecosystem wants to and will take on a formative,
innovation-driving, trend-setting role in the market.
Now things are really starting to happen.
And because we can’t do it alone, we hope to inspire
employees, customers and partners alike to follow
the motto:

In everything that people do, however, the main point
is that people can live – live better, ideally. Working
to live, not live to work – that has always been FATH’s
philosophy. To work pleasantly and meaningfully
