The Fraternal Order Of Police
Legislative team has worked hard on
laying the ground work for a very
aggressive list of priority legislation.
The first week of pomp and ceremony
of the opening of session are over and
the second week has been filled with
negotiations and collecting votes and
support for our priority issues. The
lions share of the base work of
drafting, sponsorship, educating, and
garnering support were
done during the interim
committee
meetings
and we are now working
on maneuvering thru
the maze that is the
legislative session.
