Airport road change
CONSTRUCTION
at
the new Hobart airport
interchange will mean
changes to how traffic
travels through the airport roundabout in May
2021.
The number of exits
from the roundabout will
be reduced from five to
four, with vehicles diverted onto alternative
roads.
Traffic heading to Hobart will need to exit the
roundabout via Cranston
Parade, which will then
join back onto the Tasman Highway via a new
connection.
Traffic heading to
Sorell will need to leave
the Tasman Highway via
a new exit lane, which
will enter the roundabout
via Kennedy Drive and
then turn left onto the
Tasman Highway. Signs
will be placed to guide
road users. as well the
speed limit dropping to
40km/h.
