The Conduit, Q4 2019 - Page 3

A Message from our President & CEO
We are riding the momentum built during the first three quarters of the year into
the 4th quarter for 2019 and it is clear that Gaylor Electric will finish with another
record breaking year in revenue, number of projects and number of employees.
Our relationships with customers, other contractors and vendor-partners have
again helped lead to this being a banner year. Of course, having the highest
performing craft men and women in the industry is certainly a plus!
This year of 2019 also marks the 35th anniversary of Gaylor Electric. From the
very first project, a Kohl’s store in Janesville WI, developing relationships has
been the bedrock for the Gaylor business model. Our success is contingent on
helping all we partner with to be successful. This is how we started and it how
we continue to this day.
Chuck Goodrich
Also, in light of our 35th year, I am so thankful for the thousands of men and women across the country
who have been part of the Gaylor organization. Not everyone who starts with us always stays with us…
this is just a simple reality in the business. I will say that our goal has always been to provide each
employee with an opportunity to work with a valued-based company that provides unequaled opportunity
for growth and career fulfillment. The men and women who comprise the Gaylor organization today are of
the highest quality and I am proud to work with them.
Since the last edition of The Conduit we received notification that we won a very prestigious industry
award. Gaylor Electric has been named the ENR’s MIDWEST Specialty Contractor of the Year for 2019!
Our course, most, if not all of you reading this know the ENR magazine is a premier industry publication.
To receive this honor is a testament to the quality work we do and the high caliber professionals we have
on our team.
Looking ahead, in our first edition of The Conduit for 2020 I will be excited to share highlights from our
2020 Gaylor Summit! This will be our company wide meeting to be held in Indianapolis in January. This
will be our largest educational and inspirational event ever. In addition to our employees, key vendors will
be in attendance providing classroom instruction and manning informational booths. And just so you
know, we are still accepting sponsorship opportunities from vendors and clients…I encourage you not to
miss out on having your name identified with the Gaylor brand.
There is always so much to share, yet they only give me one page! In closing, let me extend the very best
to all of you, your families and businesses, a very merry Christmas and that your holidays may be filled
with great thankfulness, joy and fellowship. And that we can all ride that momentum from this holiday
season into making 2020 even more satisfying and enriching for ourselves, our families and our business
endeavors.
