Vice President
Visits Gaylor Project
The NeuroDiagnostic Institute located in
Indianapolis marks the region’s first new
psychiatric hospital built in decades. The
electrical portion of this project included
complete power distribution. Our installations
consisted of 4-inch PVC underground work,
switch gear, transformers, and termination.
Gaylor Electric provided all low voltage
systems including access control, nurse call
systems, and tele-data. We also installed UPS
and backup systems for redundancy and
looped new construction with the existing
hospital. Many of the challenges associated
with schedule and productivity were a result of
the strict patient health and safety codes
associated with a psychiatric hospital.
The NeuroDiagnostic Institute is the
first Indiana psychiatric hospital built
in 50 years & is a model for the Nation
on addressing drug abuse, mental
health & public safety. As Indiana
leads the way with overdose deaths
down 12%, we will continue to fight for
more places like NDI!
