100% Fabricated
PILOT PROJECT
Through innovative fabrication, our electrical
team has mastered the art of eliminating
construction complications and safety hazards.
For the first time, Gaylor Electric is completing a
project with 100% fabricated components.
The Purdue Polytechnic Gateway Project is the
first of its kind and will be completed in the
Production Innovation Center located in
Noblesville, Indiana, as a pilot project.
As we continue to grow as a company, we
are consistently seeking out ways to build
and work more efficiently. The Purdue
Polytechnic project represents an evolved
type of fabrication and construction that
includes pre-kitting loose materials and a
'Just-In-Time' delivery schedule.”

Technology:
Some of the technology being utilized at Purdue Polytechnics are virtual 3D design
in Revit, total robotic station, VR/AR capabilities, and the Evolve software to identify
fabrication opportunities.
Pre-Kitting:
Among a solid pre-construction plan, fabrication plays a vital role in work efficiency. In
addition to fabricating fully assembled electrical modules, our team is taking it one step
further by pre-kitting all jobsite materials that will be shipped to the project and ready
for onsite installation.
Just-in-time Delivery:
Jobsite logistics and storage can be especially challenging on university jobsites. At
Purdue Polytechnics, Gaylor Electric is developing a Just-In-Time delivery schedule
that will keep the project on schedule and maximize productivity.
