About the research
1
We undertook a rigorous translation process to ensure
that the translations of the survey would yield common
responses among native speakers of Chinese, English,
French, German, and Spanish. To be eligible for the
survey, participants had to be native speakers of one of
those languages.
2
These analyses include only the geographies and
industries with sufficient representation within the data
set (5 percent or more) to draw meaningful conclusions.
