At The Landing at Cape Elizabeth we
know that eating well is not just necessary
for optimum health, especially as we age, it
can also be one of the most pleasurable
parts of the day. We have chosen our
name – Harvest – to epitomize our philosophy
regarding each of those aspects of our dining
program. We go beyond typical assisted living
fare and offer meals that feature fresh,
seasonal, and unprocessed menu items made
from scratch by our own chefs. To that end,
we have partnered with the best local sources
of fresh and appealing fruits and vegetables
that we buy as they are newly
harvested.
We cherish our partnerships
with local Maine businesses, such
as a treasured Cape Elizabeth
institution Jordan’s Farm, with five
generations of farmers, where we will get fresh
tomatoes and corn in season, as well as fresh
and sweet strawberries from Maxwell’s Farm,
not to mention lobster fresh from our own
shores. The dedication to fresh and local is one
of the many unique aspects of our Harvest
Dining program, led by a staff of experienced
cooks and servers. This is a community you will
quickly call home and will be proud to invite
friends and family to visit as well.
In addition, we looked to the word “harvest” to
inspire the design of our beautiful dining room,
where our residents will quite literally enjoy
the fruits of the seasonal harvest
three times a day while they
break bread, make new friends,
and chat about the latest news
of the day. Our Harvest Dining
Room is a beautifully appointed,
friendly, and comfortable place
where you can select from several
entrees each day, served by smiling
waitstaff who will know your name and how you
like your coffee!
Discover local farm-to-table-inspired food,
friendly, smiling people, and
a beautiful place to enjoy the
New England harvest.
