CERAMICS
HANDBUILDING CERAMICS ONLINE
For experienced ceramics students. This class is an
online component to the regularly scheduled Wednesday night wheel-throwing / hand-building class. Advanced students can hone their skills with the assistance of the teacher who will provide technical support
and inspiration to students who are not able to come
into the studio on a regular basis. Please note that this
is a hybrid class where the teacher will be working with
students in the classroom who are primarily focused on
wheel-throwing; however, support and instruction will
be given to at home hand-building students.

THEATER
CERAMICS: WHEEL THROWING
ADULT ACTORS STUDIO
An introductory level course on wheelthrowing and
learning to use a pottery wheel. Beginners will learn to
wedge clay, form clay on the wheel, and basic decorating techniques. Continuing students welcome. Tuition
includes 25 lbs. of clay, glazes, and firing. (Adult classes
include open studio time). 10 classes.
The objective of this class is to allow beginner and intermediate students a chance to explore the art of acting in
a judgment-free, team-oriented way. You will learn terminology, how to break down a scene, and learn the tools to
help you build a character from within. We will explore
different methods of acting through scene work and character development. The class will work toward a showcase for the final class however the emphasis for this class
is the work. This class is for the serious student. Students
will “audition” during the first class for placement purposes. There will be work required outside of class.
