GHGP* DIVIDES THE INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL EMISSION IN SCOPES.
AS A SME OUR PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO REDUCE OUR EMISSIONS IN
SCOPE 1 & 2, BUT CHOOSE TO KEEP SCOPE 3 IN FOCUS, AS IT STANDS
FOR 97,5% OF OUR TOTAL CO2 EMISSION.

Being less bad, is not being good
When solutions to the issues is discussed in various
forums, there is a lot of talk about ‘minimizing’ all
kinds of negatives; C02, toxins and not least waste.
From 2015-2020 we did a lot of actions in our
production facilities that minimized our energy con
sumption and thereby our CO2.
We also went through the various chemicals
included in the manufacturing process - Found out
the minimum amount that could be used, and out
phased chemicals that did not live up to the requi
rements when we certified products. Thereby we
minimized toxins.

We furthermore managed to use more of our raw
materials and establish a social economic business
unit, that makes new products from a lot of our resi
dual materials - And so, we minimized waste.
We sure did a lot of minimizations of things that
were not good. But while we may have improved
and become better than our starting point - Being
less bad, is not being good.
We aim to be standard setting and show an
example of what can be done, even tough we are
just a minor sized enterprise. Therefore our goal is
to minimize our total scope 1 and 2 emissions with
100% by 2030 to become completely CO2 neutral in our primary scopes of actions.
