HxA LISTENS TO COLLEGE &
UNIVERSITY PRESIDENTS
This year, HxA conducted a listening tour to better understand the challenges that executive administrators
face in advancing open inquiry and constructive disagreement on their campuses, and to learn from leaders
around the country about the strategies they've launched and the advice they have for others looking to
improve their own campus climates. Twenty-two college and university presidents participated,
representing a range of institution types and geographic locations.
