HE THEN EARNED A HOSPITALITY DEGREE

Proof’s reputation as Atlanta’s top catering organization. In 2012, the opportunity arose for me to personally
invest in the business and take on a leadership position
to help build on the previous leadership’s success and
create a new strategy for the future of the organization.
I jumped at the chance to join such an amazing team
and I have never looked back.
At this time the organization was doing around $10
million in revenue.

cindy morley You have served as CEO for Proof of the
Pudding for 10 years. How did you get your start?
an Proof of the Pudding is a diverse organization that
got its start as a small off-premises catering organization in the late 1970s. Now we are 44 years young and
our local off-premises catering business is still thriving
and is a creative incubator for our organization. Every
event we do is unique in location, client, customized
menu, timeline, run of show, etc. This division constantly reinvents itself and we use the many ideas in
culinary creativity and service to inject into our other
lines of business.
adam noyes I joined the Proof family
as a young man doing everything from
packing and loading trucks, serving,
bartending. You name it. I did it. At the
time Proof of the Pudding was a smaller
family operation and I learned the business from the ground floor after earning
a degree in Hospitality Management. I
followed my goal to have a career in the
hotel business.
I enjoyed 16 years in that part of the
industry with Ritz-Carlton and then mostly Hyatt Hotels and Resorts for a 14-year
journey. I give a lot of credit to the many
mentors and leaders I had the opportunity
to work with at Hyatt. It prepared me to
be fully ready when the time came to do
something more entrepreneurial.
