to serving the needs
of our members and
improving the whole
health of Georgia.
We are thrilled to announce our
increased investment in programs
and partnerships aimed at supporting the Georgia Pathways to
Coverage Medicaid program. With
a vision to expand health benefits
to low-income individuals in need,
this exciting initiative aligns with
our commitment to transforming
healthcare by addressing the broader social determinants of health.
At CareSource, we recognize the
evolving landscape of healthcare
eligibility and how wrap around services can truly change lives. We are
doubling down on our support for
Georgia Pathways by increasing our
investment in our support services
and expanding key partnerships to
ensure more eligible members have
the resources they need to get covered and stay covered.
The foundation of our efforts lie
in the expansion of the CareSource
Life Services program. Through this
initiative, we are working to empower our members with a broad
spectrum of resources, including
job resources, educational opportunities, vocational counseling, and
more. To complement this, we have
created the Georgia Pathways Life
Services Coach position, ensuring
personalized and dedicated support
for potential enrollees navigating the
program’s qualifying activities.
Moreover, our collaborations
with esteemed partners like First
Step Staffing and Goodwill exemplify our dedication to empowering
individuals beyond healthcare.
These partnerships are instrumental
in offering increased resources and
opportunities to those seeking to
qualify for Georgia Pathways.
First Step Staffing, known for its
commitment to providing economic
opportunities to individuals facing
various challenges, is an integral
part of this endeavor. Together, we
aim to connect potential applicants
with employment opportunities,
breaking barriers for those facing
homelessness, previous incarceration, or poverty.
Additionally, we are expanding our partnership with Goodwill
Southeast Georgia, which will equip
potential enrollees with essential
resources, including training, employment opportunities, and customized
support plans. We will also be able to
collaborate with them at community
job fairs, outreach events, and other
activations within their networks.
At CareSource, we view these
collaborations as more than just partnerships. They are avenues to uplift
and nurture every aspect of an individual’s well-being. By engaging in
community outreach events, career
fairs and workshops, we strive to create a ready and prepared workforce,
contributing to the holistic development of our members.
Our commitment to transforming healthcare extends beyond
providing insurance coverage.
CareSource remains dedicated to
addressing the social determinants
of health, promoting health equity, prevention and access to care.
Through our innovative programs,
we can make a meaningful impact
on the lives of over 450,000 Georgians we proudly serve.
We want to thank Gov. Brian
Kemp, Georgia Department of Community Health Commissioner Russel
Carlson and other leaders for their
vision and collaboration in ensuring
access to critical healthcare through
the Medicaid program.
CareSource stands firm in its
mission to transform healthcare, one
life at a time. As we forge ahead,
CareSource remains committed to
championing the well-being of our
members and communities, striving
for a healthier, more empowered
future for all.
