Hayling Herald News
Hayling Island
Community Centre
By Iona Harkness, manager of Hayling Island Community Centre (HICCA)
AS you know, we love bringing our
community together to enjoy great
entertainment and activities for all
ages with the wonderful facilities
and surroundings we have here at
the community centre.
However, being a charity, our
survival depends on our room hire,
functions and fundraising and with
the current energy crisis and rising
costs everywhere, this year we really
are needing to pull out all the stops
to fundraise with bells on!
With the help of local businesses
and volunteers we are very excited
to be able to announce that we will
be holding a HICCA FUNdraising
Family Fun Day in the Park on May
26th from 2pm – 8pm.
We are planning an afternoon of
fun activities, games, inflatables,
entertainment, demonstrations and
our very own Hayling’s Got Talent,
along with other competitions in
cake making, crafting and flower
arranging.
We’ll have our very popular bar in
the park and food outlets to choose
from.
If you would like to enter any of
the competitions or if you have your
own unique business and would
like to have a stall and be a part of
this fantastic fundraising event then
please keep your eyes peeled on our
Facebook and website or contact us
on 02392 467545/enquiries@hicca.
